Our Projects
ROC Dawlish presently runs a select program of supporting projects that encourage Dawlish people to connect and help other Dawlish people.
As well as being supported by the agencies involved in Helping Dawlish, the police and the local council, these programs are endorsed by the local churches involved in Christians Together in Dawlish and District (CTDD) - St Gregory's Parish Church, St Agatha's RC Church, Dawlish Methodist Church, the Strand Church (URC), MC Family, and Hope Church.

Dawlish Community Larder
With the support of the local council, ROC Dawlish runs Dawlish Community Larder for people who find themselves in financial difficulty. Starting throughout COVID to address the pandemic's effect on families, it has since continued due to the recognition that there are Dawlish families very much in need. It furthermore acts as a outlet in responding to local food waste.

School's Work
We work alongside all of the schools within the Dawlish district, supporting teaching staff with their RE/ethos curriculum through assemblies, lesson plans and inspirational sessions. We also have an Christian afterschool club and a number of pastoral projects aimed and senior level children.

Family Mentoring
In conjunction with Dawlish College, ROC Dawlish runs a family mentoring program. We develop a customised program of pastoral care that has a mentor go into the family home and support the lead adult for a given amount of time. The mentor and mentee journey together, addressing issue and concerns that the lead adult recognises.
