Our Projects

Supporting the Dawlish community through practical care, relational support and school-based initiatives.

How ROC Dawlish Serves the Community

ROC Dawlish works across multiple areas of community life, offering practical help, school-based programmes and family support. Each project is designed to respond to specific local needs while building connection and hope across the town.

Dawlish Community Larder
ROC Dawlish runs the Dawlish Community Larder to support individuals and families experiencing financial difficulty. Established during COVID, it continues to meet ongoing local need while helping reduce food waste.

School's Work
We work alongside schools across Dawlish, supporting RE and ethos delivery through assemblies and classroom input. We also run a Christian afterschool club and pastoral initiatives for both primary and secondary students.

Family Mentoring
In partnership with Dawlish College, we provide tailored family mentoring support. Our mentors walk alongside families, offering practical and pastoral care to address specific challenges.

Working in Partnership

As well as being supported by the agencies involved in Helping Dawlish, the police and the local council, these programs are endorsed by the local churches involved in Christians Together in Dawlish and District (CTDD):

  • St Gregory's Parish Church

  • St Agatha's RC Church

  • Dawlish Methodist Church

  • The Strand Church (URC)

  • MC Family

  • Hope Church.
