Family Mentoring
Walking alongside families in Dawlish with practical and pastoral support.
In conjunction with Dawlish College, ROC Dawlish runs a family mentoring program. We develop a customised program of pastoral care that has a mentor go into the family home and support the lead adult for a given amount of time. The mentor and mentee journey together, addressing issues and concerns that the lead adult recognises.
How It Works
Each mentoring relationship is tailored to the needs of the family. Support is built around listening, trust and practical guidance, helping families navigate challenges in a structured and supportive way.

Mentoring is offered in partnership with local schools and operates within safeguarding guidelines.
Who It Is For
Family mentoring is available to families within the Dawlish community who would benefit from additional support and encouragement. Referrals are typically made through Dawlish College or partner agencies.
