Dawlish Community Larder

With the support of the local council, ROC Dawlish runs Dawlish Community Larder for people who find themselves in financial difficulty.  Starting throughout COVID to address the pandemic's effect on families, it has since continued due to the recognition that there are Dawlish families very much in need.  It furthermore acts as a outlet in responding to local food waste.

Who It’s For

The Dawlish Community Larder supports individuals and families experiencing financial difficulty within the Dawlish area. Referrals can be made for those facing short-term hardship or ongoing need.

Make a Referral

Referrals can be submitted through our online form. If you are supporting someone in need, please complete the referral process to begin support.

Reducing Food Waste

The Larder also works to reduce local food waste by redistributing surplus food responsibly, ensuring it benefits the community.

How It Works

Referrals are received and reviewed, and food support is arranged accordingly. The Larder operates in partnership with local agencies to ensure support reaches those who need it most.

Supporting Families with Dignity

The Larder is designed to provide practical help while maintaining dignity and care. Our aim is not only to provide food, but also to offer encouragement and connection.
